PE Associate/Senior Analyst, Private Equity Fund
A prestigious Private Equity Fund is looking for a highly skilled and motivated Private Equity Associate to join their investment team. The role involves a comprehensive engagement in all stages of the investment process, from origination to post-acquisition portfolio management. Ideal candidates will possess strong financial modeling skills, transaction experience, and the ability to manage complex due diligence processes.
Responsibilities:
- Investment Process Support: Act as a key member of the investment team, assisting in all phases including origination, due diligence, transaction structuring, and post-acquisition management.
- Investment Origination: Contribute to the origination process and development of new investment themes.
- Investment Opportunity Screening: Conduct extensive financial modeling and sensitivity analysis to evaluate potential investments and prepare preliminary investment reviews.
- Due Diligence Coordination: Organize commercial, financial, and legal due diligence sessions, collaborating with external consultants to prepare necessary materials.
- Documentation Management: Oversee the documentation process, including drafting investment committee memoranda and recommendations.
- Portfolio Management: Support the team in monitoring and managing the portfolio, preparing value creation plans, directing strategic initiatives, and reviewing financial and operational performance reports.
Requirements:
- Bachelors or Masters degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or Economics. CFA designation is a plus.
- 3-5 years of transaction experience on the sell-side or buy-side in investment banking (M&A), private equity, corporate finance.
- Profound knowledge of financial markets, financial statement analysis, corporate finance, and valuation techniques.
- Demonstrates initiative, a strong work ethic, and a high level of professional maturity.
- Fluency in English.
