The Compensation Forecasting & Reporting Director for Apollo Global Management is responsible for the business segment monthly compensation forecast update, operational support in preparing the annual compensation budget and long-term plan, as well as ad hoc reporting and other projects. The position partners closely with the Human Capital and Compensation Finance teams to define analytics necessary to inform both the business and senior leadership on all matters pertaining to compensation expense budgeting and forecasting. The position sits within the Finance organization.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Monthly compensation expense reporting and review with business COOs and other P&L owners as well as Senior Leadership

  • Operational support for the annual budgeting process

  • Ad hoc analyses and projects related to compensation forecasting

  • Business process mapping and process improvements

  • Troubleshoots and implements solutions working across technology platforms within Human Capital and Finance including Adaptive, OneStream, PeopleSoft, Workday, and any other future technologies

  • Liaise with Human Capital, Corporate Technology and broad Finance on various finance application projects

Qualifications & Experience

  • 10+ years of experience – mix of data analysis, financial reporting, and systems background

  • Adaptive/OneStream or similar enterprise performance management administration and report creation

  • Strong experience in data handling, reporting and excellent knowledge of Excel

  • Interest in learning compensation structures, processes, and design

  • Understanding of finance/accounting processes

  • Identify and resolve problems in a timely manner; gathers and analyzes information skillfully

  • Solution-oriented mindset with proven record on execution of transformational projects

  • Ability to take on task and “run with it” to conclusion

  • Candidate must have an analytical, logical thought process for developing solutions

Pay Range

$190,000 – $250,000

The base salary range for this position is listed above. This position is also eligible for a discretionary annual bonus based on personal, team, and Firm performance. Compensation ranges are based on several factors including job function, level, and geographic location. Final offer amounts are determined by multiple factors including candidate experience and expertise, and may vary from the amounts listed here.
