About the role

PLA is hiring an Enterprise Chief Financial Officer to lead finance across our Solutions and Services divisions. This is a full-time, ongoing executive role reporting directly to the CEO and serving on the Executive Team.

The CFO sets enterprise-wide financial standards, owns consolidated reporting, and leads budgeting, treasury, audit, and tax. Divisional accounting teams report to their division COOs and partner with the CFO through a functional relationship. You will work closely with the CEO, COOs, our private equity sponsor, lenders, and the Board.

Key responsibilities

  • Enterprise standards: Set and maintain accounting policies, financial controls, reporting definitions, and close calendars applied consistently across both divisions.
  • Consolidated reporting: Own the enterprise reporting process and present results and analysis to the CEO, sponsor, lenders, and Board.
  • Close process: Review and guide the monthly and year-end close, working with the accounting team that performs consolidation.
  • Budgeting and forecasting: Lead the enterprise budget and forecast, challenge divisional assumptions, and deliver variance analysis.
  • Cash, treasury, and capital: Lead liquidity planning, cash forecasting, banking and lender relationships, covenant reporting, and capital investment review.
  • Audit, tax, and controls: Oversee external audit and tax, internal controls, and financial compliance, coordinating with Legal on entity and transaction matters.
  • Finance systems: Set priorities for finance technology and common data definitions, partnering with IT and division leaders on implementation.
  • Divisional accounting leadership: Advise COOs on the structure, staffing, and development of divisional accounting teams, and support the Solutions COO in an advisory role in evaluating and improving the Solutions accounting organization.
  • Strategy and transactions: Support the CEO and Executive Team on financial strategy and transaction readiness.

Work arrangement and what we offer

  • Location: Flexible remote or hybrid, with periodic travel and time at our Addison, Texas office.
  • Compensation: Base salary plus an annual incentive tied to company EBITDA performance.
