A team of serial entrepreneurs and asset management professionals is launching a new investment fund. The fund's primary focus is on profitable Russian companies with high growth potential. In addition to the new fund, our team manages two investment portfolios that include technology companies from the U.S., Europe, and Russia.
Responsibilities:
- Identify and assess new investment opportunities with a focus on strategic growth potential, utilizing innovative and creative methods to uncover high-value prospects.
- Conduct comprehensive analysis and evaluation of investment projects, including preliminary commercial and financial due diligence.
- Prepare detailed materials and presentations for the Investment Committee.
- Present and defend investment projects before the Investment Committee, showcasing both analytical rigor and creative vision.
- Participate in the management of portfolio companies, including involvement in supervisory boards and boards of directors.
- Collect, analyze, and interpret data to assess current and potential investment projects.
- Perform strategic business analysis to inform investment decisions and guide portfolio management.
- Develop and refine financial models to evaluate the performance and potential of investments.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to align strategic goals with investment initiatives.
- Leverage creativity in the analysis and presentation of complex data, ensuring that insights lead to innovative investment strategies.
Requirements:
- Bachelors degree in Economics, Finance, Business, or related fields.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in PE / IB / strategy consulting / business development, or innovation departments within a major company.
- Proficiency in analyzing financial models and evaluating business performance.
- Excellent analytical skills with a keen attention to detail.
- A creative mindset with the ability to think outside the box in identifying and assessing investment opportunities.
- Curiosity, ambition, and a desire for continuous professional growth.
- Exceptional communication skills with the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Proven ability to present and defend ideas and strategies to senior management.
- Fluent in English.
