The Apollo Human Capital (HC) team is responsible for managing HC processes and strategic initiatives which span the employee lifecycle, including talent acquisition, onboarding, training and development, performance management, organization planning, compensation, analytics, immigration, and employee engagement. Responsibilities:
The HC Chief of Staff will play a critical role to evolve HC’s target operating model and execute key strategic initiatives, working closely with the Head of Human Capital, HC COO, and HC Leadership Team. The role will report to the HC COO and support HC transformation and change projects, as well as day-to-day business operations across the HC team.
Provide project management for key HC strategic initiatives (e.g., new HC programs, culture initiatives, HC technology projects, M&A); develop and manage project plans that define key activities, resources, and timelines.
Serve as a central point of coordination and communication across the HC team, including developing and maintaining a centralized calendar of activities and events, drafting internal communications and preparing weekly status updates for senior management, including the CEO
Manage internal and external events for the CHRO, Matt Breitfelder
Help to streamline key HC processes across the team; support HC process reengineering and change management, advising HC teams on consistent end-user education approaches and soliciting regular stakeholder feedback to inform enhancements.
Partner with HC Operations team to deliver regular HC analytics and reporting to the HC leadership team and senior management; use analytics to synthesize key takeaways including team wins and areas of focus.
Coordinate with HC Centers of Excellence and Business Partner teams to track and align key HC initiatives and processes; develop team reporting framework and cadence to ensure tight coordination across the function and other relevant teams (e.g., Enterprise Solutions, COOs, Corporate Communications).
Partner with Corporate Communications team on employee communications; maintain communication plan and partner with HC teams to ensure consistent messaging.
Support various HC team activities and processes including global team member onboarding, communications and engagement, knowledge management, and HC budget planning and management.
Qualifications & Experience
10-15+ years of relevant work experience in Human Capital, consulting, or other related experience
Solid understanding of HC processes across the employee lifecycle including recruiting, talent management, global mobility, and total rewards
Strong HC technology orientation including prior Workday experience, Advanced knowledge of Excel, including the ability to perform calculations and automation to process large volumes of data
Ability to storyboard and leverage data to create clear and concise presentations for a variety of audiences, both internal and external
Exercises good judgment and operates with the highest level of discretion and professionalism in all interactions and situations in highly sensitive and confidential situations
Clearly communicates progress on deliverables and escalates issues in a timely manner
Excellent organizational, communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
Strong demonstration of teamwork and collaboration and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
Strong business acumen and experience in the financial services industry
Bachelor’s degree required
Pay Range

The base salary range for this position is listed above. This position is also eligible for a discretionary annual bonus based on personal, team, and Firm performance. Compensation ranges are based on several factors including job function, level, and geographic location. Final offer amounts are determined by multiple factors including candidate experience and expertise, and may vary from the amounts listed here.
