About the Role
Trinity Hunt Partners is seeking a Vice President, M&A to contribute to the development of acquisition strategy and implementation at a portfolio company. This role will play a key part in sourcing, evaluating, and closing M&A transactions to scale businesses and create long-term value. The ideal candidate will bring strong deal execution skills, relationship-building capabilities, and the ability to support the growth and development of junior team members while coordinating multiple acquisitions.

Key Responsibilities- Oversee M&A Execution – Manage the full transaction lifecycle, including deal sourcing, due diligence, valuation, structuring, negotiation, and closing.
- Develop Market Relationships – Build and maintain strong relationships with sellers, brokers, bankers, and industry advisors to drive a robust acquisition pipeline.
- Oversee Due Diligence – Conduct financial analysis, risk assessments, and integration planning to ensure successful post-close execution.
- Mentor and Develop Talent – Train and empower junior M&A team members, ensuring strong execution and team growth.
- Improve Market Positioning– Act as a key external representative to increase visibility and credibility within the industry.
Qualifications & Experience- 6+ years of experience in investment banking, private equity, corporate development, or M&A.
- Demonstrated ability to source, evaluate, and complete deals in dynamic
- Strong financial modeling, due diligence, and transaction structuring skills.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and relationship-building capabilities.
- Experience working within private equity-backed or high-growth companies is a plus.
