Our AmLaw 100 client is hiring an Of Counsel to drive sponsor-side and strategic M&A from New York. Expect direct client access, complex deal work, and room to run on a national platform with deep private equity bench strength.

Role Summary

Lead and advise on acquisitions, dispositions, minority investments, and related corporate transactions for PE funds and portfolio companies, as well as strategic buyers and sellers.
Own drafting across the deal stack, manage timelines and workstreams, and steer negotiations with counterparties.
Serve as day-to-day contact for clients; handle general corporate matters as needed.

Candidate Profile

Class years 2015+ or current Of Counsel. Significant M&A experience from a top firm.
Strong command of market terms and corporate law; proven deal management and drafting skills.
Entrepreneurial mindset with interest in business development; comfortable operating with autonomy.
