POSITION OVERVIEW:

We are seeking a technically strong analyst to support the FP&A forecasting platform and underlying financial models. This role focuses on maintaining and improving the technical infrastructure that supports enterprise forecasting across assets, liabilities, expenses, and capital activities. The position is well suited for candidates with a background in actuarial science, quantitative modeling, engineering, or software development who enjoy working at the intersection of financial models, data pipelines, and automation. The analyst will work closely with FP&A, investment, and actuarial teams to ensure forecast models and supporting data processes remain accurate, efficient, and scalable.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Maintain and support enterprise financial forecast models covering assets, liabilities, expenses, capital, and debt issuance.
  • Build and maintain data preprocessing pipelines used to prepare model inputs
  • Develop and maintain automation tools for data ingestion, validation, and transformation.
  • Support model updates, enhancements, and documentation.
  • Monitor and troubleshoot data quality issues and model breaks.
  • Manage and maintain model input datasets and supporting reference tables.
  • Improve process efficiency through scripting and automation.
  • Partner with FP&A, actuarial, and investment teams to implement technical enhancements to forecasting workflows.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Actuarial Science, Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, or related quantitative field
  • 8–12 years of experience in modeling, actuarial analytics, financial modeling, or software/data engineering
  • Strong programming experience in Python, SQL, or similar scripting languages
  • Experience working with large datasets and data transformation pipelines
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to support complex models and debug technical processes.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience supporting actuarial or financial forecast models
  • Familiarity with insurance, asset-liability management (ALM), or capital modeling
  • Experience with cloud data platforms, workflow automation, or version control
  • Progress toward actuarial exams or experience in actuarial modeling environments
