Position Overview

Apollo is seeking a Director to join the Strategic Diligence & Implementation team to focus on product structuring, implementation and investor onboarding across its credit platform.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with senior members of the team to assist in structuring, development and implementation of new products for Apollo’s credit platform, including commingled funds, funds-of-one and separately managed accounts

  • Work closely with Apollo Credit investment professionals, product professionals and sales professionals in order to contribute to the generation and documentation of new product ideas, terms and structures

  • Collaborate with internal and external legal, finance, operations and tax teams in the evaluation of feasibility, profitability, structuring and formation of new or restructured investment vehicles

  • Support senior members of the team, sales professionals and product professionals in the capital raising process, with investor negotiations and investor onboarding

  • Support the lifecycle of the fundraising process

Qualifications & Experience

  • 4-7 years of prior corporate law experience, preferably within an alternative asset management firm, a law firm, or an investment bank

  • Experience with product structuring and product development

  • Experience with fund offering documents, including private placement memorandums, partnership agreements and subscription documents

  • Experience with the European regulatory regime (including MIFID, AIFMD, EU risk retention rules) and European fund domiciles (Luxembourg, Ireland) preferable, but not required

  • Communication Skills: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey complex ideas and solutions in a clear and accessible manner.

  • Ability to prioritise and multi-task: Strong capacity to manage multiple deliverables, seamlessly transitioning between internal and external tasks as needed.

  • Personal Attributes: Personable, organised, proactive self-starter with a positive attitude and strong interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with internal stakeholders across various locations and time zones.
