Apollo is seeking a Strategic Finance Associate to play a key, hands-on role in budgeting and forecasting for the company and will help with the planning, analysis and reporting of Fee Related Earnings (FRE) and financial impacts of the Apollo Asset Management segment and the underlying businesses across the platform. This person will build monthly and ad-hoc analyses and presentations for senior leadership and foster relationships with the business heads, CFOs and the executive team.
Primary Responsibilities
Coordinate with business leads, business-level CFOs, and other team members to define business reporting and analytics requirements and execute all aspects of deliverables
Focus on analyzing and reporting firmwide Fee Related Earnings throughout the annual budget, 5-year plan, and monthly forecast processes
Support the development of timely, high-quality FRE insights to help Senior Management set direction for the firm
Analyze FRE performance versus projections by assessing key business drivers, risks/opportunities, and fund-level variances, including deeper investigation as needed
Create presentations and key analyses for Senior Management and Board of Directors that effectively communicate the story
Ensure the accuracy, integrity, and timely delivery of all FRE inputs and dependencies across the team
Respond in a timely manner to all ad-hoc questions and requests for information. Become a widely recognized source for high quality management information for various departments
Enhance and improve the scope and content of existing reporting & analyses to better serve a growing stakeholder base; work with Technology to automate reporting processes
Qualifications & Experience
3+ years of financial analysis experience, ideally in Investment Banking, Private Equity, or FP&A
Excellent Excel-based modeling skills and PowerPoint presentation skills are required
Highly analytical thinking and financial reasoning capabilities with strong attention to detail and ability to think creatively
Operates with high degree of achievement and curiosity about helping to drive strategic initiatives and change across an organization
Flexible and comfortable working in a fast-paced, highly demanding, rapidly changing environment
Outstanding communication, presentation, organizational, and interpersonal skills
Has a record of cross-functional collaboration, good judgment, and creative solutions
Shown ability to partner with senior level stakeholders and run processes independently
Experience leveraging OneStream, Power BI, AI-driven tools (Claude, ChatGPT) to enhance analytical workflows and insight generation
An understanding of FRE in the asset management space is a plus

Pay Range
$110,000 – $130,000Apollo Global Management, Inc. (together with its subsidiaries and affiliates) is committed to championing opportunity.

The base salary range for this position is listed above. This position is also eligible for a discretionary annual bonus based on personal, team, and Firm performance. Compensation ranges are based on several factors including job function, level, and geographic location. Final offer amounts are determined by multiple factors including candidate experience and expertise, and may vary from the amounts listed here.
