This role follows a hybrid work model which consists of 4 days in office per week. Additionally, you will receive 5 additional remote days per quarter to use at your discretion, subject to manager approval.

We are seeking a self-motivated Senior Associate to join the Performance Measurement Group. The Senior Associate will provide portfolio analytics, performance and reporting services for the firm’s private markets investments. This individual will work closely with the department’s internal performance measurement team as well as other departments (Investments, Investor Relations, Accounting, Marketing, Client Reporting, etc.) where necessary to provide support to the Firm’s global investment activities.

What you will do:

  • Work closely with internal teams to ensure accurate timely completion of monthly/quarterly reporting, RFPs, and other ad-hoc custom calculation requests as needed

  • Provide subject matter expertise on performance analytics to stakeholders, including investment teams, client reporting, marketing and IT

  • Timely review of fund performance including review and reconciliation of reports to quarterly automation reporting files

  • Preparation and/or review of quarterly track records & composites

  • Assist and support the Sales Enablement, Product Marketing, and Client Service team with compiling and completing data requests as needed

  • Assist with compiling analysis for performance benchmarked against industry benchmark providers and public indices (PMEs)

  • Identify and implement process changes to increase timely and accurate delivery of performance data

  • Collaborate with technology teams to develop and improve system functionality and validate enhancements

  • Develop accurate controls to identify, research and resolve any performance data issues

  • Assist with creating standard operating procedures for uninterrupted performance reporting

What you bring:

  • Strong understanding of performance methodologies in public and private markets, including Time-Weighted Return (TWR), IRR, and Risk-adjusted metrics

  • Experience in completing sophisticated performance calculations, reviewing data/materials for accuracy/completeness, and publishing performance data

  • Experience interacting with and communicating to various partners regarding industry standard performance measurement and benchmarking practices, demonstrating strong customer service and communication skills

  • Proven ability to lead multiple and often challenging priorities, outstanding problem-solving skills, and an understanding of requisite performance-related mathematical and quantitative techniques. Ability to creatively solution and implement results consistently

  • Proven track record in establishing procedures and controls within a regulatory environment

  • Broad understanding of analytical tools and related systems, including spreadsheets, accounting, and performance measurement systems, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Visio

  • Experience with reporting, dashboard, and other analytical tool design/creation/maintenance

  • Strong attention to detail, analytical skills, and experience in reconciling data

  • Ability to communicate and collaborate with stakeholders across different time zones

  • Ability to share knowledge and expertise with junior members of the team

Education

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting or related field required

  • Certificate in Investment Performance Measurement (CIPM) and/or Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) preferred

Experience

  • 7+ years of relevant experience in private equity capacity preferred
