Our Function

The Research Associate will support the Large Cap Growth Equity team in identifying and evaluating investment opportunities across growth-oriented sectors (including consumer, industrials and technology).

This role is designed for a high-performing junior analyst with 1-3 years of experience who combines strong fundamental research capabilities with a technology-enabled approach to research, data analysis, and investment process.

The individual will contribute to idea generation, financial analysis, and research efficiency.

Your Impact

Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to the following:

  • Conduct fundamental equity research across growth-oriented sectors including company analysis, industry trends, and competitive positioning
  • Build, maintain and enhance advanced financial models
  • Research stock ideas and work on bespoke research projects
  • Attend internal and external meetings with companies and analysts
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with industry experts and sell-side analysts
  • Leverage data tools to enhance research workflows and insight generation
  • Identify opportunities to improve research efficiency through automation or data structuring
  • Support the team in adopting data-driven approaches to tracking companies, industries and investment themes

Your Required Skills / Job Requirements & Qualifications:

Your required skills must include:

  • 1-3 years of experience as an Analyst/Associate
  • Demonstrated ability to build and analyze financial models and synthesize complex information
  • Expertise with Bloomberg, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Demonstrates interest in AI and data-driven research, with hands-on experience independently leveraging tools such as Claude, ChatGPT, or similar platforms to build workflows, analyze information, and improve productivity
  • Strong understanding of growth equity investing principles and valuation frameworks
  • Ability to distill investment thesis and associated risks down to most impactful factors
  • Ability to establish priorities and meet deadlines while juggling multiple competing tasks and demands
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to operate with limited direction in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience covering consumer, industrials or technology a plus

The base salary range for this role is $125,000 - $150,000. Individual salaries for this role may vary based on various factors including but not limited to, years of experience, range in corporate level, candidate skills, and geographic location. Eligibility to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program is subject to rules governing the program, whereby an award, if any, depends on various factors including but not limited to, individual and organizational performance.
