The Associate / Investment Manager is part of the team that manages European secondaries activities at Schroders Capital.
What you will do
Conduct due diligence of European secondaries opportunities, with a focus on GP-led transactions and other complex transactions
- Play an active role in sourcing, due diligence, negotiating, executing and monitoring of secondaries transactions
- Make investment recommendations and present opportunities to the Investment Committee
- Conduct industry research and develop insights relevant for secondaries
- Prepare client pitches and requests, and participate in business development
The knowledge, experience and qualifications you need
- Proven financial experience: a minimum of 4 years working in private equity secondaries, direct private equity, investment banking or corporate finance; GP-led experience is a plus
- A very good degree in Natural Sciences, Economics, Finance or Business Administration from a reputable university
- Excellent command of English and German language, another European language is a plus
Excellent communication skills (written / verbal / presentation)
