About the role:

The ideal candidate will have direct Private Equity accounting experience and have demonstrated capabilities in managing a portfolio of private equity asset managers and allocators.

The role will support the European Management Team of the Private Equity line of business. The candidate will have a lead role in managing and driving client specific strategic initiatives, which will involve interacting with other Citco offices and various operational & product lines within the organization.

Key tasks and responsibilities: Client Profitability, Client Retention, Client Satisfaction

  • Primary point of contact for Clients
  • Develop C-Suite relationships with clients
  • Manage client profitability – periodic analysis of revenue vs cost. Analyze trends and communicate findings to Senior Management
  • Revenue enhancement – cross sell Citco products & services to existing clients
  • New revenue generation – support sales initiatives
  • Accounts receivable – manage/monitor timely receipt of fees
  • Communication – establish client communication matrix to ensure appropriate channels are in place (periodic health checks etc.)
  • SLA – Establish, manage & monitor client SLA’s and generate MIS KPI reporting for internal and external consumption
  • Manage SLA breaches, incidents and communication to client
  • Onboarding - work alongside our integration team to establish plan for new client setup and transitions
  • Coordinate with Operations group, Financial Statement group, Tax group, and Investor Relations group
  • Project manage new initiatives / change being rolled out to clients
  • Ensure RAG rating of client is in line with Clients view of the relationship – maintain CRM system
  • Visit clients on periodic basis to evaluate service quality and identify client priorities
  • Assist in the resolution of complex client issues – report weekly updates to Senior Management
  • Risk Management – conduct CRA’s where appropriate
  • Provide technical accounting/industry knowledge to clients
  • Notify Clients of changes / enhancements to Citco’s Product / Service offering
  • Query escalation – act as point person for client escalations


Qualifications and Experience:

  • 12 to 15 years private equity experience working at a fund administrator or private equity fund
  • Strong leadership skills and supervisory experience of other professionals
  • Skills in negotiation, business planning and budgeting, margin analysis, rating agency relations and technical accounting.
  • Familiarity with Investran
  • Knowledge of US Generally Accepted Accounting Principles and other comprehensive basis of accounting
  • Experience in reviewing and preparing general ledgers and financial statements
  • Project management skills with attention to detail and proven ability to multi-task.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Advanced computer skills (Microsoft Excel).
  • CPA designation a plus
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or related field.
  • CPA designation a plus
